Our Metropole Hotel Brighton Hilton Review:

Luxury accommodation with a sea view awaits visitors to the Metropole Hotel Brighton Hilton. Situated on the city’s lively, eclectic beachfront, this prestigious residence mixes Victorian elegance with modern comfort. Guests can choose from 334 rooms, all of which have mini bars, satellite television, DVD players, large comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms.

The building features a large swimming pool and a well-equipped gym. Massage and beauty treatments are available for those wishing to be pampered, as are a steam room, a sauna and a spa pool. But don’t forget to book your treatment in advance to save being disappointed.

The Windsor Restaurant provides European ? la carte dining beneath shining chandeliers and ornate Victorian ceilings. The Metropole Bar and Lounge is the ideal place for guests to settle back and enjoy the views over the beach and the English Channel while sipping on cocktails. In fine weather, drinks and a light meal can be enjoyed on the sun terrace.

The hotel’s position in the centre of town means that an astonishing array of restaurants and bars, for which Brighton is famous, are just a short walk away. The property is little more than a five-minute stroll from many of the town’s most famous attractions, including the pier, the Royal Pavilion and the winding cobble streets and boutique shops of the Lanes.

As well as being popular with all types of visitors, from couples coming for a romantic break to families visiting for their summer holidays, the Hilton is one of the biggest residential conference centres in the South East of the country. This means it has all the amenities modern corporate guests are likely to need.

Brighton’s proximity to London, about an hour way by train, means that it is the ideal place for large, international business meetings and events. London Gatwick airport is around 30 minutes away by train. Brighton Station is less than 20 minutes away on foot. In total, the Metropole Hotel Brighton Hilton has nine exhibition halls and 28 conference rooms, most of which are equipped with the latest communications technology.

Leisure visitors who have come to this part of the English Riviera to enjoy relaxation, the salt air and the stunning countryside will enjoy Brighton’s famous pebble beach, which is the perfect place to while away an afternoon exploring the entertainments, people-watching with a pint or sunbathing while listening to the waves push and pull the shingle.

The marina is another popular nearby place to hang out. Here, there are numerous bars, caf?s and shops to explore as well as hundreds of yachts to admire. On race days, it is worth heading to Brighton Racecourse for a flutter. This intimate venue features tremendous views out over the water as well as exciting races.

The Metropole Hotel Brighton Hilton, like its neighbour the Grand Hotel Brighton, may not be the cheapest accommodation on the seafront, but it is certainly one of the finest. Excellent service, first-class amenities and an unbeatable location make this establishment a hard one to surpass.
